While the film has a reasonably engaging cast and some decent scares, the script feels like an uneasy blend of The Blair Witch Project and Tomb Raider.. Be aware: if you see the film in a theater equipped with RealD 3D and Dolby sound, you'll come away with a pretty good idea of what it would feel like to have flying body parts hit you in the face.. Fills a hole in the genre by not treating kids with kid gloves.. One can't help but feel thankful that the movie doesn't always go the expected rout...
