. This distressing infiltration of a family of young boys by a charismatic psychopath rewards with a stylistic talent that feels entirely new.. This is without question the dumbest horror movie of recent years. There is simply no way to piece together its fractured shards.. At nearly two hours, Mirrors is overlong for a summer horror toss-off, and the movie's three or four false endings make it seem even more of a haul.. A well-made but hard-to-watch portrait of Australia's worst serial killer.....
