This one's DOA.. One of those formulaic thrillers loaded with a whole lot more plot than common sense.. Perfect Stranger soon begins to look like another setback for Berry.. For those who are interested in Berry as both an actress and screen presence, this is one of the most satisfying films she has ever made. It capitalizes on her strengths and she owns the picture, from start to finish.. Perfect Stranger isn't great art by any stretch, or even art by any stretch, but it is perfectly functional...
